Brazil's Pedro Solberg & Evandro Goncalves have not played their best volleyball yet this tournament. But they will need it against Nivaldo Diaz & Sergio Gonzalez, the dark horses from Cuba. Nivaldo & Sergio have never played on the World Tour before, although Sergio participated in a youth event in The Hague a couple of years ago. But so far they have impressed with second place in the pool and a 2-0 win over Spanish team Herrera/Gavira.
