Brazil’s Bednarczuk/Seixas has played in 21 FIVB tournaments as a team and will be seeded sixth in the FIVB World Championships. Bednarczuk, 31, 6-0, and Seixas, 28, 5-10 have earned one gold medal, 3 silver and 3 bronze heading into 2015. Bednarzcuk has played in 76 with FIVB international events while Seixas has played in 41 events. Seixas has won three FIVB age-group world championships, taking the gold in U-19 in 2005, and the U-21 gold medal in both 2006 and 2007. This will be the third FIVB World Championships for Bednarczuk, finishing 17th both in 2005 with Sandra Pires and 2013 with Maria Antonelli. It will be the second for Seixas who earned the bronze medal in 2013 with Liliane Maestrini. Last year in The Hague, Bednarczuk/Seixas finished in fifth place.
