Agatha: “This is very special for me, because I started in 2005 when I was still a young girl and I have grown step-by-step, year-by-year. And now I have my very beautiful and very nice teammate Barbara. I am very happy she is my partner.”
Barbara: “It’s extremely difficult to play another Brazilian team, because we know each other well. Every time we play against each other it’s a really tough game because we have to rise above ourselves and do different things to surprise them, because they know us so well. But we played with a lot of attitude and stayed together all the time, that is why we won.”
Barbara: “This tournament was excellent, because all the strong teams are here, more than in the Olympics. So we had the opportunity to see all the teams and prepare for the Olympic qualification. And we are happy to take this trophy back to Rio.”
Fernanda: “I think we didn’t play as well as we can. That makes me sad.”
Lima: “This match was hard. There was a difference in level at some moments. Brazil – Brazil is always an even match. I am so sad right now.”
