Alison up for the cup ahead of semifinal clash

 
The Hague, the Netherlands, July 3, 2015 - Alison Cerutti will be looking to repeat his FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2011 run at The Netherlands 2015, this time with Bruno Oscar Schmidt. Standing in their way will be Theodore Brunner and Nick Lucena of USA.

The teams have never met before, and with Brunner/Lucena only forming in 2014, experience could be a factor.

Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt have been playing together since 2014. They are playing in their 16th FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour tournament together. 
Alison is playing in his 43rd FIVB World Tour final four with 12 gold, 13 silver, 11 bronze medals and six 4th place finishes. 
Bruno is playing in his 20th FIVB World Tour final four with three gold, six silver, four bronze medals and six 4th place finishes. 
This is Alison's and Bruno's 2nd Final Four of 2015 (4th Moscow Grand Slam). 
Alison won the silver medal in the Olympic Games in 2012 with Emanuel Rego (London). 
Alison won the silver medal in the FIVB World Championships with Harley Marques in 2009 (Stavanger) and won the gold medal in 2011 (Rome) and finished 4th in 2013 (Stare Jablonki), both with Emanuel Rego. 
Bruno Oscar finished 17th in the FIVB World Championships with Joao Maciel in 2009 (Stavanger), finished 9th with Benjamin Insfran in 2011 (Rome), and 5th with Pedro Salgado in 2013 (Stare Jablonki). 
Alison and Bruno are currently ranked 9th in FIVB World Tour points in 2015 with 2,220 points and 6th in winnings with $81,000. 
Alison and Bruno have a 19-7 match record in 2015, an all-time record of 11-2 in The Hague, and an all-time record of 6-0 in World Championships.

Theo is playing in his 4th FIVB World Tour final four with two bronze medals and one 4th place finish. 
Nick is playing in his 10th FIVB World Tour final four with four silver medals, three bronze medals and two 4th place finishes. 
This is Theo's and Nick's 2nd Final Four of 2015 (Bronze St. Petersburg Grand Slam). 
Nick finished 17th in the FIVB World Championships with Brad Keenan in 2009 (Stavanger), 9th with Matt Fuerbringer in 2011 (Rome), and 33rd with John Hyden in 2013 (Stare Jablonki).
