One of the up-and-coming teams on the FIVB World Tour, Krou and Rowlandson started the 2015 season by placing third in the Fuzhou Open for their fourth-straight medal in an international event. The French pair ended the 2014 season with medals in their last three competitions together in China (gold at Xiamen), Qatar (bronze at Doha) and South Africa (bronze at Mangaung) by winning 19 of their final 21 matches. Seeded 32nd in the 2015 World Championships, both Krou and Rowlandson will be competing in the event for the first-time in their international careers. The French, who will be playing in their first world championship, have a 5-8 record against the 2015 field. While Rowlandson started playing on the FIVB World tour in 2012, Krou was making his debut in 2014.
