Saxton and Schalk posted Canada’s best-ever placement in the World Championships by placing fifth at the 2013 Stare Jablonki event. The Canadians are seeded 17th in the 2015 event after ending the 2014 FIVB World Tour campaign with their best placement ever with a bronze medal finish in Paraná, Argentina. Prior to Paraná, Saxton and Schalk placed fifth in the São Paulo Grand Slam where they were eliminated by compatriots Josh Binstock and Sam Schachter. Winners of a 2014 NORCECA tour event two weeks are their Argentine success, Saxton has been a regular on the world tour the past five seasons with Schalk his partner the past two years.
