Only playing together for six tournaments heading into 2015, Brazilian Olympians Talita Antunes/Larissa Franca will be seeded second in the FIVB World Championships. In those six tournaments on the 2014 FIVB World Tour, Talita/Larissa earned four gold medals. Talita, 32 and 5-11, lives in Rio de Janeiro and has played in 137 FIVB tournaments entering this season with 22 gold medals and Larissa, 33 and 5-9, lives in Fortaleza and has won 50 gold medals in 121 career tournaments. Talita won the 2013 FIVB World Tour season title with Taiana Lima and Larissa won the season crown seven times with Juliana. Both are two-time Olympians, Talia finished fourth with Renata Ribeiro in 2008 and ninth with Antonelli in 2012. This will be the fifth FIVB World Championship for Talita, with a best finish of third with Antonelli in 2009 and the sixth for Larissa with a gold medal in 2011 with Juliana. Talita won gold in The Hague in 2010 (Antonelli) and 2013 (Lima) and Larissa won gold there in 2009 and 2011 with Juliana.
