The top-seeded team from the Czech Republic, Olympians Kolocova/Slukova will be seeded fifth at the FIVB World Championships. Both residing in Prague, Kolocova, 27 and 5-7 and Slukova, 26 and 5-11 have played as a tandem in 56 FIVB World Tour events, with two gold medals (both in 2014-Prague and Berlin), one bronze (2014-Gstaad, Switzerland), two fourths and 10 fifth-place finishes. The pair have played in two FIVB World Championships, finishing 17th both in 2011 (Rome) and 2013 (Stare Jablonki, Poland). Kolocova/Slukova, who finished fifth in the 2012 Olympics (London), have also played three time together in The Hague with a best finish last year of fourth place. The Czech tandem has also competed together in two FIVB Age Group World Championships.
