Being honored by qualifying and being selected as the players to be the first team to represent Morocco, Etayafi/Siad will be seeded 44th in the 2015 FIVB World Championships. Ettayafi, 26 and Mahassine, 27, were selected by their national federation to represent their country after Morocco qualified for the FIVB World Championships through the CAVB African National Championship that was held in Tunis, Tunisia this past February. This will mark the first time either player has played in the FIVB World Championships and neither has played in a FIVB World Tour event through the 2014 season.
