Australia’s Bawden/Clancy will be seeded 17th at the FIVB World Championships. Both FIVB World Tour veterans despite their age difference, Bawden is 33 and 6-0 while Clancy is 22 and 6-0, have played in 21 world tour events together with four fifth place finishes entering the 2015 season. Overall, Bawden, who lives in Mitcham, enters 2015 having played 61 world tour events and Clancy, who resides in Adelaide, has 25. Bawden came to the beach after playing for the Australian national volleyball team from 1998-2004 which included the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2002 FIVB World Championships. This will be the third FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships for Bawden (ninth in 2011-Rome with Becchara Palmer, 17th in 2013-Stare Jablonki, Poland with Clancy) and second for Clancy.
