A pair of two Olympians, Russia’s Barsuk/Moiseeva will be seeded 34th at the FIVB World Championships. Barsuk, 27 and 6-2, lives in Moscow and Moiseeva, 32, 6-1, is living in St. Petersburg and is the first year they are playing together. Barsuk has played in 51 total FIVB international events, including 20 with Anna Vozakova and Moiseeva has participated in 66 total, including 38 with Natalya Uryadova. Barsuk placed ninth in the 2012 Olympics with Vozakova and Moiseeva finished 19th with Uryadova in the 2008 Olympics. In 2003, Moiseeva won the U-21 FIVB World Championships with Anna Morozova. This will be the second FIVB World Championships for both players, Barsuk placed 17th in 2011 with Vozakova and Moiseeva finished 17th in 2007 with Uryadova.
