Ten days of fun at the Beach Club The Hague

 
The Hague, Netherlands, June 26, 2015 - The Beach Club The Hague is the place to be over the next ten days for amazing activities, performances and beach parties. Het Plein in The Hague has been transformed for the FIVB Beach Volleyball Championships to recreate a beach atmosphere.

On Friday afternoon, Tournament Director Bas van de Goor and the tournament ambassadors opened the Beach Club The Hague. In so doing, they gave the signal to start the one and a half week of beach fun in the centre of The Hague.

Events at Scheveningen beach are moved to the very heart of the city for ten days, where fans can find a fun beach bar serving cool drinks and watch the matches live on the giant screens. Tournaments and sport clinics take place at the beachcourt, where fans can also show off their volleyball skills. Fans and newcomers are invited to participate in the various beach volleyball activities.

The SWKGroep Kids corner is also located at het Plein, where children can play, craft and solve quests and be supervised all day long.

During the World Championships, fans will also get opportunities to take photos of the World Cup and of players at the Q&A at the Trophy Tour tent.
 
At the Beach Club, entertainment is provided for visitors of all ages. Every night, DJs and performances will provide music at the Beach Club The Hague. On Friday night, Liptease & the Backstreet Crackbangers are on stage after the opening matches.
