World champs world record attempt approved

The Hague, the Netherlands, February 13, 2015 – June 27 is set to be a big day for beach volleyball in the Netherlands, quite literally, as the world record attempt for the biggest beach volleyball tournament ever has officially been approved by Guinness World Records.

The beaches of Scheveningen will be transformed into more than 300 courts with thousands of beach volleyball players set to participate in the event.

The world record attempt is an official side event for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships The Netherlands 2015.  All volleyball players are invited to take part alongside their friends, training buddies, family members or colleagues and play together with hundreds of other teams.

Renting a court is possible, but you can also participate in one of the many beach volleyball tournaments set to be organised. Sign up will be open in the last week of February. If you would like to receive more information on the event or if you want to make a reservation for a court, contact: wereldrecordbeachvolleybal@nevobo.nl
