Nummerdor/Varenhorst out for revenge against Evandro/Pedro

 
The Hague, the Netherlands, July 3, 2015 – Reinder Nummerdor and Christian Varenhorst will be looking for revenge when they clash with Brazil’s Evandro Gonclaves and Pedro Solberg on Saturday.

The pair met earlier in the season at the Stavanger Major and will be hoping to reverse that result against the current FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour leaders.

Reinder Nummerdor and Christiaan Varenhorst have been playing together since 2014. They are playing in their 8th FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour tournament together. 
Reinder is playing in his 26th FIVB World Tour final four with 11 gold, six silver, two bronze medals and six 4th place finishes. 
Christiaan is playing in his 7th FIVB World Tour final four with two gold, one silver, one bronze medal and two 4th place finishes. 
This is Reinder's and Christiaan's 3rd Final Four of 2015 (4th Porec Major Series, Silver St. Petersburg Grand Slam). 
Reinder finished 5th in the Olympic Games in 2008 (Beijing) and 4th in 2012 (London), both with Richard Schuil. 
Christiaan finished 17th in the FIVB World Championships with Daan Spijkers in 2013 (Stare Jablonki). 
Reinder finished 17th in the FIVB World Championships in 2007 (Gstaad), 17th in 2009 (Stavanger), 17th in 2011 (Rome), and 17th in 2013 (Stare Jablonki), all with Richard Schuil. 
Reinder and Christiaan are currently ranked 3rd in FIVB World Tour points in 2015 with 2,600 points and 3rd in winnings with $104,000. 
Reinder and Christiaan have a 24-5 match record in 2015, an all-time match record of 6-0 in The Hague, and an all-time record of 6-0 in FIVB World Championships.
