The Hague, Netherlands, May 13, 2015 - If you are planning a trip to the Netherlands this summer for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, look out for our weekly features on what to do in The Hague, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn and Rotterdam. This week, we take you to the Theatre Festival the Parade in Rotterdam.

The opening weekend of the World Championships coincides with the last weekend of the Parade in Rotterdam. After the matches, you can immerse yourself in theatre, dance and music.

This summer, traveling theatre festival the Parade travels through the Netherlands for the 25th year. The festival kicks off in Rotterdam in the Museumpark. After Rotterdam, the festival will continue its journey with its colourful tents, restaurants and terraces to The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam.

At the Parade, there is something to experience for everyone. There will be over 90 different theatre, music, and dance performances for all ages. There will also be free music performances at Café Correct and Hotel Vilé. On top of that, visitors will be able to soak in the atmosphere at one of the many event terraces serving cocktails, Asian food, BBQ food and more.
