Apeldoorn, Netherlands, May 29, 2015 - With less than a month to go until the start of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships The Netherlands 2015, beach volleyball fever is building in the four host cities.

This week, three giant banners were revealed on the outside of the city hall in Apeldoorn. Photos were taken with beach volleyball player Rimke Braakman, entrepreneur Jacco Talen and schoolboy Mathijs Lodiers. Together they are the face of the Apeldoorn campaign ahead of this summer's Beach Volleyball World Championship.

The ‘Apeldoorn, a city to be proud of’ campaign will be seen around the city as it prepares to breathe volleyball at the end of June. Apeldoorn is thought of as the capital of volleyball in the Netherlands. Two of the biggest Dutch volleyball clubs - Dynamo and Alterno - are both based in the town.

During the World Championships, Apeldoorn will host fifty matches. The city will welcome pool matches, matches in the round of 32, round of 16 and in the quarterfinals.
