The Aussies are at the start of their FIVB World Tour careers and will be seeded 46th in the World Championships. Entering the 2015 season, the pair had played in five FIVB World Tour events together with a best placement of 17th last season in Argentina (Paraná). Neither Court nor Schumann have ever played in the World Championships. Winners of 2014 stop on the Australian tour together, Court and Schumann placed fifth at the Asian continental championships later in the season. The pair started this season with two Asian circuit ninths in Thailand.
